Project description:

The aim of this urban design study was to find the optimal way of fitting the program (ground-bound houses, appartments and a new office complex) into this context.

An inter-locking of park and housing forms the basis of the design. Two squares surrounded by low-rise houses were placed in the green zone. Elements which are usually neglected, like fence, carport and shed, become part of the design. They form the connection with the street, pushing the house towards the park.

The remaining appartment and office program is accomodated in two towers, serving as landmarks at the motorway exit.
